Hammett, PA, July 26, 2013: The FASTRAK Northeast Touring Series returns to Eriez Speedway this Sunday for a $2000 to win event. Defending champion Max Blair won the event when the tour visited in June and is expected to run at or near the front of the pack again this week. Joining him at the front of the field will be current point’s leader Chad Wright and Billy Henry, a two time Eriez winner and currently second in the season-long track points race. Visitors should include WV’s Joel Prosser, Corning, NY’s Wayne Robertson, a winner here earlier this season, and Pittsburgh’s Mike Pegher, a past Eriez tour winner. Matt Latta, a tour winner and semi-regular at Eriez is also expected to be in the running in the Bonnell Collision Center FASTRAK Late Model feature.

The other weekly classes at Eriez will also compete. Robbie Blair, with five Jay’s Auto Wrecking Super Late Model feature wins, leads the pack over Andy Boozel and Chris Hackett. Hackett is a former Eriez champion but neither he nor Boozel have visited Victory Lane yet in 2013.

Rich Michael, towing 2 hours one way from Ishua, NY, has four wins and currently leads the Plyler Overhead Door E-Mod title race. Defending champion Joel Watson, with two wins, is currently second with winless Gary Eicher third.

Ryan Scott, on the strength of four feature wins in 2013, leads the Conway & O’Malley Limited Late Models over Dustin Eckman and Chris McGuire. Both have one win on the season.

Eric Ester has been winless thus far in the Eric Walter Tree & Stump Removal Street Stocks but has piled up an impressive top-five record to lead their standings over opening night winner John Phelps and Mark Thompson, also winless on the season.

Kasey Hammond is defending her Kandy’s Gentleman’s Club Challenger 2012 championship by leading the point’s standings again this season. She currently has two feature wins and leads single winner Joe Beach and Wes Stull, last year’s runner-up in the season-long title chase.
